An $18 obstacle

As a supporter of Puppet Showplace, you know that theater brings us together. We gather together in a darkened room to laugh, shriek, oooh, and shout helpful advice to the puppets as they try their best.

But for some families, even an $18 ticket is a barrier to joining in.

Said one parent:

We would not be able to attend puppet shows as often (or possibly at all) without the assistance of Card to Culture. We are very appreciative of the program and I have utilized it to enrich my children's lives. It has a huge positive impact on my family and my children's relationship with the arts.”

Can you make a gift today so that Puppet Showplace can expand our Affordable Access programs, and reach more families like hers?

In this, our 50th anniversary year, we are elevating our commitment to making Puppet Showplace a welcoming home for everyone.

Your support will:

  • Fund our Card to Culture program, which provides $3 tickets to families who use SNAP (food stamps), WIC, or other forms of assistance.

  • Help expand our popular free Summer Outdoor Series, which reached twice as many audience members last summer and grew beyond Brookline to reach Boston Common, Allston, and Mattapan

  • Invest in the future of PST through a much-needed renovation of our lights, sound, and physical space. Your gift will help us meet a $138K match from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.

  • Allow Puppet Showplace Theater to continue to invest in fresh, groundbreaking theater for people of all ages.

Please make a gift today so that we all can gather together at Puppet Showplace Theater — now, and for years to come.
