Puppetry Library

The Boston Area Guild of Puppetry (BAGOP) maintains a library of puppetry books that is housed at Puppet Showplace Theater.

While the books in this library are not available for loan, the public is welcome to use the library by appointment at times that are convenient to the theater (for instance, our lobby is small, so the hour before a performance is not the most convenient time to have visitors).

The library includes everything from books on puppet history to "how to" books for the budding puppeteer. The library also accepts and is grateful for appropriate donations of puppet and puppet-related books.

Puppet Showplace Theater is dedicated to presenting outstanding puppetry to diverse audiences through performances, workshops, and community outreach activities.
